At the last Central Ghana Conference Session held in the SDA Girls Senior High School at Ntonsu in Ashanti Region in August 2012, there was an urgent need to create this new department to foster the spread of the gospel to the Muslim communities and also strengthen the global mission initiative. Pastor Kofi Gyimah Yamoah was elected into this noble office.
Pastor Kofi Gyimah hails from Agona in the Ashanti Region and was born in March 18, 1960. Pastor is married to Mrs. Juliana Gyimah Yamoah with two (2) Children.
Pastor Kofi Gyimah before entering into the ministry was a professional teacher and rose to the rank of a Principal Superintendent. He received a call into the ministry in September 2002. Pastor has since served as church Pastor, District Pastor, Headmaster for Kofiase Adventist Senior High/Technical School. He is currently the director for Global Mission and Muslim Relations.
Pastor holds BA in theology from Valley View University and an MA in Missions (Islam) from Adventist University in Africa, Valley View University Campus.
